Oracle Kills Off Project Darkstar
Well, as we all expected, Oracle is not taking any time in ruining the Java platform. The latest on the chopping block? Project Darkstar. There goes at least 3 projects I had planned.

Wonderland lost its sponsorship as well. Seeing as IBM and Linden Labs both have alternate virtual worlds applications going (an enterprise virtual conferencing hardware appliance no less in the case of the latter) I sure hope Oracle take another look at this and Darkstar in the near future.
